At GOFF COURTNEY HQ we’ve long loved illustration – spurred by the early issues of Wallpaper* magazine and the short-lived pioneering publication Flair, founded by Fleur Cowles… not to mention being inspired by the late great illustrators Rene Grau and Francois Berthoud.
We also like to go against the grain, questioning conventional marketing – as illustration can evoke a very different mood compared to photography. So with this in mind, we were delighted to collaborate with Gill Wright to capture some of our one-off statement pieces – the results wonderfully evoke our ‘soft tailoring’ approach.
