Hoods

The hood dates back to medieval times when they were attached to tunics and called a cowl. Fast forward to today and the hoodie has became a popular piece of casual clothing, while also providing an optional sense of security and privacy. While being associated with anti-social behaviour, conversely the hoodie has also been upgraded in high end fabrics – as the epitome of luxury athleisure. We love a hood and incorporate them, whenever possible, into gilets, capelets, scarves and neck ties. Creating distinctive, functional pieces for inclement weather, eliminating the need for an umbrella
